Just a sigh in a silent room
Like a drowning tide filling the darkened room
For the forgotten souls laying on the backs
Searching for an excuse
It’s a deafening call to shed more tears

For the fate of us all
For the fate of this world
For every wrong we’ve ever felt
Every failure we’ve been through
Everlasting grind of entropy
Upcoming collision of galaxies
The human standing on the plain
We see the murder in their eyes

Just as I thought, in the end
Nothing that I did was judged
By it’s merits in itself
But in relation to some other game
That was played behind the wall
The facade one could call pride
Complex patterns of behaviour
Value assessment and clinging to the hope
That by these acts and few more lies the wall
Will stand by itself safe from the scrutiny of jealous minds
Fortified for years and years to come
